Is Caio Terra Academy Kirkland good for complete beginners?
Yes. Our curriculum emphasizes controlled training, fundamental safety, and technique from your very first day on the mats. Beginners are welcomed and supported by head instructors Endo Cleofe and Ender Cleofe as well as experienced training partners.
What should I wear to my first BJJ or Boxing class?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing like a rashguard or fitted t-shirt and athletic shorts without zippers or pockets. For Boxing classes, bring hand wraps if you have them. For Gi Jiu-Jitsu classes, we will assist you with proper Gi fitting and attire when you arrive.
Do I need to be in shape before starting martial arts?
No. Training at Caio Terra Academy Kirkland gets you into shape as you learn. You pace yourself, and our instructors tailor drills to your current fitness level so you build endurance safely over time.
